Brewing Québec explores the craft beer industry of Québec. Through the eyes of three different brewers of the greater Québec City area, Brewing Québec questions the creative process, choice of ingredients and fraternity as ingredients to brewing success. What makes a good beer? Brewers Catherine Dionne-Foster of artisanal brewery La Korrigane, Felix St-Hilaire of Les Grands Bois coop and Gilbert Poulin of farmhouse Frampton Brasse share their secrets to brewing some of the best beers in the province. 


Episode 1

Brewing Québec takes a closer look at Québec's unique craft beer industry, through the eyes of three completely different brewers. Ingredients. We meet the brewers and explore their brewing philosophy: Catherine Dionne-Foster of artisanal brewery La Korrigane in Québec City, Felix St-Hilaire of Les Grands Bois coop in Portneuf and Gilbert Poulin of farmhouse Frampton Brasse in the Beauce. 

Episode 2

Brewing. The brewers analyze the different steps involved in making craft beer and demonstrate how creativity makes its way through each recipe.

Episode 3

Marketing. Labels, events, awards, the brewers explain their business philosophy as two of them head to the Canadian Brewing Awards in Ottawa to compete against hundreds of microbreweries from all over the country.
